Building PostGraduated – 2026
Years after first struggling to navigate the graduate job market, the same challenges reappeared at postgraduate level – an experience shared by countless MSc and PhD graduates looking to move from academia into industry.
Conversations with fellow researchers and experiences within industry revealed a recurring problem: postgraduate talent is abundant, but pathways into industry remain unclear, inconsistent, and often disconnected from the level of expertise researchers have developed.
PostGraduated was built to change that – creating a platform focused on postgraduate careers, industry opportunities, and improving the connection between advanced academic talent and employers who can benefit from it most.

PostGraduated began as a simple idea: a place where life sciences postgraduates can find tailored jobs, guidance, and build meaningful career connections outside of academia.
Our vision is to help MSc and PhD graduates transition into industry by connecting employers with advanced academic talent and promoting career pathways that recognise postgraduate expertise beyond traditional graduate entry roles.
